Salida, Co Meet the Authors

 Twelve regional authors will be signing and selling their books from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at the Salida Community Center, 3rd and F streets in Salida.

            The public is invited to “Meet the Authors,” hear brief presentations about their work and enjoy free snacks. A drawing for books donated by the authors will also be held.

            Participating authors are Stacey Joslin, Bruce Dunavin, Gerald Knowles, Betty Plotz, Joe Stone and Arlene Shovald of Salida; Dana Chwan Santa Fe, New Mexico and formerly of Salida; Denise Garrou, Nancy Oswald and M.L. Rowland of Cotopaxi, Bernie and Linda Nagy, South Park and Courtney Miller, Westcliffe. The works represented include coffee table books, history, mystery, fantasy, cookbooks, self-help and more.

2014 Bologna Italy Childrens Book Fair

March 24-27th Dragonhorse will be there for age group 16 and older. My  foreign rights agent Sylvia Hayes will be presenting Dragonhorse to Dreamworks Productions. GO Sylvia!!!

They are looking for suitable stories for a movie. I can see this story on the big screen...


Book Signing at Hastings Book Store

October 26th my friend and fellow author Courtney Miller did a book singing at Hastings book store in Canon City Colorado. 

Shanghai Childrens Book Fair

Dragonhorse is going to China to the Shanghai's Children's Book Fair! They are looking for the next Harry Potter...not sure if they are read for my story! The fair is the first weekend of November 2013.

Update: I have been getting a ton of inquiries from the Asian market. My foreign rights agent Sylvia Hayes is in charge of dealing with them. Dragonhorse could go international!
